ABOUT US
MO YUNG is a Brooklyn-born, female-led indie/sludge punk band formed in mid-2024. Our music is high-energy, opinionated, bi-polar, and chaotic—sometimes a raging pit, sometimes a euphoric doom head-banging ritual, and sometimes a sing-along dance party you didn’t see coming. Fuzzed-out riffs, filthy bass, and pounding drums collide with Morgan Winter’s unhinged, vulnerable vocals to create a sound that reflects the chaotic, absurd world we’re all stuck in. Mood swings and anxiety are baked into the songs, but we’re obsessed with keeping it catchy and undeniably our own.
Live, MO YUNG is about total release. We want you to bang your head, scream with us, jump off the stage, get sweaty with your friends, and forget about our fucked reality for a half-hour. Our shows are an invitation to turn dread into something loud, messy, and strangely fun.
